Screen Capture with Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows® has a "Print Screen" function which captures your ENTIRE screen and places it in the clipboard.

Lightning Navigator takes this TWO big steps further:

  • Use a keyboard shortcut (Control+Alt+PrintScreen) to capture ONLY the screen PORTION you need.

  • Save the image within Lightning Navigator.
    Easily paste later using a keyboard shortcut.

    This is great for placing logos in documents!

First, find an image...

Control+Alt+PrintScreen invokes a crosshairs cursor.
Drag diagonally to select the area you want to capture.

You will then see this message:
Image has been loaded into clipboard.

Paste Image into Most Documents

To grab a screen shot: Control+Alt+PrintScreen
With the image loaded in the clipboard, you can now right-click-paste it into most documents, including Microsoft® Word® and Excel®

You can even save the image in Lightning Navigator for association with a keyboard shortcut.

Keyboard Shortcut to Images

To open setup screen: Right-click+open on the lightning bolt Lightning bolt icon in the system tray at bottom right of screen.

Right-click+paste clipboard image in the "Graphic" box:

Paste image stored in clipboard into Graphic box.
Follow the instructions for naming the image file,
select a HotKey and Click Accept button

Press Control+Alt+HotKey to load image into clipboard.
